KM North America was founded by the late Kenneth Maccomber nearly 20 years ago in Kalkaska, Michigan.
Long before environmentalism was the main-stream, Ken saw the need to reuse those small propane cylinders instead
of throwing them in the landfill. Ken quietly invented, tested and patented the MacCoupler and over many years, worked
tirelessly to promote the product and it's benefits world wide.
Over the last two decades the company has grown out of its humble beginnings in a garage in Kalkaska, to its current
distribution and packaging facility located in Traverse City, Michigan. KM North America contracts with Grand Traverse
Industries to provide packaging and fulfillment services. The same MacCoupler that was once produced in a local machine
shop is now produced in a ISO 9001 certified facility in the Michigan using the latest in technology to produce a product
that is still Made in America.
